ESBS sites are best practice

1 June 2008

The NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change has recognised the Trust’s Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub (ESBS) restoration sites as best practice Threatened Species Demonstration Sites. Works performed on these two sites will be used to demonstrate best practice management of ESBS. An Open Day will be held in October, using Centennial Parklands as a case study.

This recognition is an endorsement of the quality work of our dedicated volunteers, and would not have been possible without the support of the National Trust in providing supervision of volunteers and financial assistance from our neighbours, Moriah College.
