Football Development Australia supports the Foundation

Posted: 28 April 2010

To herald the start of the junior soccer season, Football Development Australia’s (FDA) team of International Coaches, in conjunction with the Friends of Centennial Parklands, conducted a successful Pre-Season Skills Clinic at Centennial Park on Monday 22 March 2010.

FDA’s coaching team introduced over 30 boys and girls aged 6-14 to the type of training young players in Europe are experiencing in the top Academy and training programs. The proceeds from the clinic will go towards environmental and educational projects across Centennial Parklands.

To show their support for Centennial Parklands, the FDA donated $255 to the Foundation, being the registration fees of participants from this session.

Please note: if you would like to see more of these special opportunities in Centennial Parklands, sign up as a Friend of Centennial Parklands today (from as little as $55 single, $99 family) to avail of all year round discounts, benefits and exclusive opportunities for you and the whole family.
