Shimano
Shimano have generously supplied 20 Fishing Kits to assist our ponds group in the removal of European Carp pest fish species from Centennial Parklands pond system.
These fishing kits will be used by our Volunteers to catch and remove carp from the ponds to assist in the improvement of water quality and conservation of native aquatic species.

Interested in Volunteering?
Ponds Management Volunteers deliver key environmental and stormwater quality improvements and it is also fun!
You can participate in a range of activities including plant propagation, Pond bank landscaping and establishment, pest species fishing, and Native Fish releases.
