Celebrate the life of Trees with the Self-Guided Tree Trail

Supporting mindfulness and well-being in these uncertain times, the Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands' Education team have developed a downloadable Tree Trail map which takes you on self-guided tour of the many different types of trees in the Parklands. Trees not only provide oxygen, food, medicine, shade, timber and critical habitat, they ensure life on Earth. They are also some of the oldest living things on our planet and along the trail you will discover ancient dinosaur species, food trees, historical trees, as well as native exotic and invasive species. Each tree is identified by a coloured ribbon around its trunk and the map also includes an optional fun activity to do at each tree.

Enjoy an hour or two alone or with your family amongst nature celebrating the life of trees.
