In 2017 the Foundation set out to revive the much loved area overlooking Willow Pond and Fly Casting Pond with the creation of a community initiative entitled the Celebration Steps. Donations were made by the community to secure engraved pavers, personalised with messages of love and celebration. There has been a wonderful response from the community with over 400 pavers laid at the Celebration Steps to date, raising over $225,000 to support and enhance Centennial Parklands. With the intention to open up a further opportunity for the community to get involved with this grassroots initiative, we are pleased to announce Phase III has now launched.

Don't miss this opportunity to honour your family, express your love, recognise the life of a significant loved one, or mark an anniversary, birthday, wedding or a new baby. Perhaps you want to thank the Parklands for the endless memories you’ve shared or you could even thank your furry friend for their loyalty and companionship.

  • Donate $600 (it’s tax deductible) and create a lasting legacy. The donation amount has increased slightly due to supplier costs.
  • Set your name in stone and be recognised with a personally engraved paver in the Celebration Steps.
  • Receive a personalised certificate to keep or give to a loved one when you donate.
  • Upon completion of Phase III (estimated by end 2021) you will be invited to celebrate with us at another Celebration Steps' community event.

By donating a paver, you are supporting the Foundation's Legacy Fund, ensuring a sustainable future for your Parklands. Funds raised by Centennial Parklands Foundation will help to support Nature Education programs, conservation initiatives and preservation of vital public green space for the health and wellbeing of the wider community.
